We will have a look at the recipe for sausage dressing. For sausage dressing you will have to take a pan of cooked cornbread along with a pound of bulk pork sausage. You will also need a teaspoon of thyme, a large chopped onion, a 16 oz of beef broth and finally black pepper and 2 to 3 eggs. For the preparation, you have to first cook sausage in a skillet. Crumble the sausage and then stir it while cooking. Next drain the cooked sausage on a paper towel. Next cook onion in the skillet until it turns brown. Add the thyme and then cook and stir for a minute. Add the beef broth to the mixture and heat up to 3 minutes. Remove the mixture and let the mixture cool down.
Crumble the corn bread in a bowl. Next add the sausage and the onion mixture to the corn bread and stir. Put the pepper on the top of the mixture while stirring. Use a lot of black pepper. Add the eggs one at a time and go on stirring. Pack the mixture loosely into a casserole dish with the lid on the top. Bake the mixture at 350 degrees in an oven. Cover the mixture for half and hour and then remove lid for 15 to 20 minutes until the mixture turns brown. Then serve the dish hot to your guests.
